Rescue Readers at Bedtime

Put on your pajamas, bring your favorite books, grab a hot cocoa or cider, and read to our shelter animals before they go to bed.

Apart from being fun, this is a great opportunity to practice reading skills to a non-judgmental audience and to calm our animals for the nighttime. Come with your family and/or friends and make this an event!

Choose dogs or cats to read to and the 30-minute session that best fits your schedule.  Each 30-minute session accommodates TWO PEOPLE, a reader and an adult.

Where: Santa Cruz SPCA, 2601 Chanticleer Avenue, Santa Cruz.
