Max

Meet Max. Fifty pounds of black-and-white Border Collie mix, two years old, a white blaze straight down the middle of his face and a tail like a flag somebody forgot to lower. He just walked in the door. We don’t know his whole story yet, and we’re not going to pretend we do. But what we’ve seen so far, we like a lot.

Max

Here’s what’s on the record. Max is happy. Confident. Friendly in the way you can’t fake, the kind that starts in the back half of the dog and works its way forward. He likes people. He loves a good walk. He wants to see everything out there, every person, every dog, every patch of ground worth a second sniff, and he’d like to see all of it right now. Fifty pounds of pure enthusiasm on the end of a leash is a real thing, and he is the genuine article.

The rest we’ll learn as he settles in, and when we do, we’ll tell you straight. For now the pitch is simple. A good dog with energy to burn and a lot of adventures in front of him.
